![]() I have a had a great time back home in Canada. It has been an amazing year at school, where I have been learning cursive writing and competing on the Lego robotic team among other things. I have made a lot of new friends, who even though I have known them only a short time, I will miss a lot. I know that leaving will be hard, but I am excited to make new friends, and learn a new language at our new home in Colombia! This year at school I was lucky because I had two teachers. I had Mrs. Coben for English and Social Studies, and Mrs. Wheeler for Math and Science. I did pretty good and fun learning division and multiplication, and also learning about interesting countries all around the world like Ukraine. Some day I would like to live in the Ukraine because they have a pretty neat alphabet. One of my favourite activities this year was piano. I took lessons from Sioban Winterhalt, and I think I learned a lot. I can play so many new songs, and I even got to perform a couple of times for people in public! Brynn and I also continued in ballet, but I think I will write about that in a different post. All in all, it has been a pretty successful and exciting year. Now I am looking forward to travelling to see my Nainie and aunt Caitlin in Nova Scotia!
